Colleagues from across Estates came together on Friday 27 March for a sparkling evening at The Slate to celebrate this year’s Estates Awards.

Guests enjoyed a red‑carpet welcome, live music and a special message from Vice‑Chancellor Professor Stuart Croft.

The University of ÌÇÐÄTV’s Estates’ Grounds team is celebrating a remarkable double success after winning two national honours at the 2026 Grounds Management Association (GMA) Industry Awards.

The team was named University & College Grounds Team of the Year, while also securing a win for the Best Managed Artificial Surface of the Year.

Innovative solutions to improving student experience have earned in ÌÇÐÄTV Accommodation recognition on the national stage.

Frazer Gray, ÌÇÐÄTV Support Officer with ÌÇÐÄTV Accommodation, scooped Kinetic’s Best Young Talent Award at the 2026 Kinetic Live conference earlier this month.

Frazer's ability to master complex system logic, spot opportunities for improvement and translate them into meaningful change has helped reshape key stages of ÌÇÐÄTV's student accommodation journey.

Two Estates teams have been shortlisted for this year’s 2026 AUDE Awards, having showcased standout achievements in digital transformation and community-driven impact.

The awards, which celebrate excellence in university estates management across the UK, recognise teams and projects making significant contributions to institutional performance and sector-wide best practice.
