Our Campus Masterplan has been successful in guiding the development of the campus. Since 2009, our campus has seen a range of developments. We鈥檝e invested in our public realm, arts and culture spaces, as well as new buildings fit for collaborative research and modern teaching and learning needs.

Many of our buildings have not only improved for students and staff, but also the local community and visitors by including public engagement spaces and caf茅s on the ground floor. And as a result, our campus is becoming more accessible and inclusive.

Over the next 10 years (up to 2033), our campus will be reshaped to be a fully sustainable and naturally diverse place in which people feel engaged, valued, safe, and have a strong sense of community.

Completed Projects

Over the past ten years a total of 28 building projects have been completed, with significant investment into new infrastructure, refurbishment and the use of sustainable materials.

Our Future Plans

In Autumn 2024, we will start the next transformation of our campus. We will nurture our semi-rural setting by bringing nature back to the centre of campus, while also improving wayfinding and navigation between spaces.
