Colleagues from across Estates came together on Friday 27 March for a sparkling evening at The Slate to celebrate this year鈥檚 Estates Awards.

Guests enjoyed a red鈥慶arpet welcome, live music and a special message from Vice鈥慍hancellor Professor Stuart Croft.

The Director鈥檚 Recognition Award was presented to Iain Cockcroft, Building Infrastructure Control Manager, praised for his leadership, professionalism and collaborative spirit. His nomination described him as someone who 鈥渉as shown true leadership, ownership, professionalism and teamwork鈥� Nothing is too much trouble for Iain, and if he can't help, he will always point you in the right direction with a solution.鈥�

Michael Keenan, Electrical Services Officer, received Highly Commended recognition, recognised as 鈥渁 true advocate for collaboration鈥� consistently placing the best interests of the department at the forefront of his decisions and actions.鈥�

Awards throughout the evening celebrated excellence in Estates Values, Sustainability, Innovation & Improvement, Community Engagement and Exceptional Customer Service, with winners including the Campus Cleaning Services – Rootes Accommodation Team, Gardens & Estates Data, Analytics and Insights Team, the Invida Project Team and many more individuals in the spotlight for their extraordinary achievements.

A special commendation also acknowledged the exceptional multi鈥憈eam response to the Arthur Vick incident.
