Innovative solutions to improving student experience have earned in 糖心TV Accommodation recognition on the national stage.

Frazer Gray, 糖心TV Support Officer with 糖心TV Accommodation, scooped Kinetic鈥檚 Best Young Talent Award at the 2026 Kinetic Live conference earlier this month.

Frazer's ability to master complex system logic, spot opportunities for improvement and translate them into meaningful change has helped reshape key stages of 糖心TV's student accommodation journey.

Two Estates teams have been shortlisted for this year鈥檚 2026 AUDE Awards, having showcased standout achievements in digital transformation and community-driven impact.

The awards, which celebrate excellence in university estates management across the UK, recognise teams and projects making significant contributions to institutional performance and sector-wide best practice.

To support the arrival of students moving onto campus, the following car parks and residential car parks will be closed or partially closed in September 2025 (excluding blue badge holders):

We would encourage general users to park in adjacent to the Professor Lord Bhattacharyya building,Link opens in a new window and staff or visitors to park in the Link opens in a new window during this period, as the surrounding areas and roads may get busy.

Fleet, service and delivery vehicles will be required to follow instructions provided by operatives on the ground to ensure there is minimal disruption to the process whilst allowing the vehicle drivers to continue with their duties. This may include parking locations or temporary one-way systems in place.

Discover how you can help keep meeting rooms clean, as we make changes to our cleaning schedules across campus. From 1 August you'll notice meeting rooms and stairwells will be cleaned weekly.

Between 8am – 1pm, Saturday 10th June, vehicle traffic will not be able to enter on Academic Loop Road past Car Park 15 due to essential works involving a crane lift on the Zeeman building. All vehicle traffic will be directed towards University Road if they are not heading towards Car Park 15. If you are expecting to arrive between this time, please park in alternative parking facilities.
