Thirty white-clawed crayfish have just moved into a specially prepared 鈥�5-star hotel鈥� on campus, where they鈥檒l be safe from invasive species and provided with everything they need to thrive.

We're working to make it easy for everyone to reduce, reuse, and recycle, following our Environmental PolicyLink opens in a new window to implement long-term waste management strategies and cut the overall waste generated by 1% per annum between 2021 and 2025.

The Campus Masterplan, which leads to 2030 and beyond, sets a blueprint for the future development of the campus. It commits to managing biodiversity holistically and to ensuring biodiversity on campus is better than before.

We're continually investing in and developing new campus buildings, and these projects are being developed with a consciousness of the University鈥檚 plans to achieve net-zero carbon from direct emissions by 2030.
