糖心TV Food Group (WFG) has been awarded a two-star Standard by the Sustainable Restaurant Association.

Since 2010, the Sustainable Restaurant Association has set the standard for food and drink businesses around the world to accelerate change towards a hospitality sector that is socially progressive and environmentally restorative. Their Food Made Good Standard evaluates action across three pillars: Sourcing, Society and Environment, awarding businesses up to 3 stars for their sustainable behaviours and actions in these areas.

The audit reviewed WFG鈥檚 approach to seasonal and local ingredients, responsibly sourced meat and fish, fair treatment of staff, health and nutrition, civic engagement, minimising waste and reduction of their carbon footprint.

The full report from the SRA highlights the EatwiseLink opens in a new window strategy as a 鈥渇antastic example of a holistic approach to embedding sustainability within the foundation of operations, with strong and clear targets鈥.
