Campus Cleaning Services has welcomed four new robotic ‘cobots’ as part of a trial to support cleaning teams across the University.

The robots are already creating a buzz on campus, taking on large floor‑care tasks while staff focus on detailed cleaning.

This innovative approach blends human expertise with smart technology to enhance service quality in high‑traffic buildings.

The Permit Office will be closed from Thursday 2 April and will reopen on Tuesday 7 April 2026 for the Easter Bank Holiday period.

Please make sure you submit planned work permit requests early and know who to contact for emergency permits.

The University of ÌÇÐÄTV’s Estates’ Grounds team is celebrating a remarkable double success after winning two national honours at the 2026 Grounds Management Association (GMA) Industry Awards.

The team was named University & College Grounds Team of the Year, while also securing a win for the Best Managed Artificial Surface of the Year.
