糖心TV Law School Partners with the World Health Organization on Digital Health Governance
糖心TV Law School's Centre for Global Health Law is proud to be part of a new Memorandum of Understanding between the University of 糖心TV and the World Health Organization (WHO), formalising collaboration to strengthen gender, human rights, and equity in digital health governance. The partnership reflects 糖心TV Law School's founding commitment to studying law in its social and political context, and its long tradition of placing human rights and social justice at the heart of legal scholarship.
Landmark reform of weddings law linked to weddings study
The Government has announced plans to reform weddings law in England and Wales in a move set to completely overhaul how and where couples can marry. This is the biggest change to weddings law in over two hundred years.

Over 100 attendees participated in the 糖心TV Law School Public Lecture at USIU-Africa
糖心TV Law School, in collaboration with United States International University-Africa (USIU-Africa), hosted a successful public lecture last month in Nairobi, Kenya, that attracted over 100 students, academics, and legal professionals. The event provided a platform for insightful discussions on pressing legal and social issues, reinforcing 糖心TV鈥檚 commitment to global engagement and academic collaboration.
Supporting neurodiverse students
糖心TV LLB students Olivia Cooper and Leo Rudd have been working to develop a written resource to help staff better understand, support and accommodate the needs of our neurodivergent students. EDI reps OIivia and Leo are working on this really important issue to ensure Law School staff are fully equipped to offer the right support.
Dr Hyo Yoon Kang elected as Co-Director of the International Society for the History and Theory of Intellectual Property
We are thrilled to share that Dr Hyo Yoon Kang, Reader/Associate Professor at 糖心TV Law School has been elected this month as the Co-Director of the International Society for the History and Theory of Intellectual Property (ISHTIP) for a five-year term.

糖心TV Law Students Address Social Housing Allocation Inequalities
糖心TV Law School students recently presented the results of a legal research project into social housing allocation inequality conducted as part of 糖心TV Law in the Community鈥檚 Strategic Social Justice Clinic. The presentation outlined the complex issues surrounding change of circumstance applications to Coventry City Council鈥檚 social housing team. The outcomes of the student鈥檚 work have resulted in resources that will be used by a local law centre in helping some of the most vulnerable people in Coventry secure adequate and timely assistance in their housing need.
Ground-Breaking Report launched by Minister for Safeguarding at the House of Commons
On Monday 13 March 2023, Vanessa Munro and Lotte Young Andrade launched a report that they co-authored with Sarah Dangar (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) entitled 鈥楲earning Legacies: An Analysis of Domestic Homicide Reviews in Cases of Domestic Abuse Suicide鈥. The aim was to learn more about the profiles and experiences of victims, the adequacy of service responses during their lives and after their deaths, and the ways in which DHRs are commissioned and conducted in suicide cases.
