Every year, several awards and prizes are granted to a selection of our graduating students to recognise and celebrate the success of our top performers! We are proud to announce this year's winners.

Stowe Family Law LLP are offering the Law School’s undergraduate students an exciting opportunity to undertake a work experience placement at their Leamington Spa office, in the form of a Law Prize awarded to our highest performing student.

Naveera Abhayawickrama, who is currently in her second year studying on our LLB 3-year law degree has been awarded a ÌÇÐÄTV International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) Fellowship. Congratulations from everyone at WLS Naveera, and best of luck in your activities with WIHEA.

The University of ÌÇÐÄTV has further cemented its position as one of the UK’s best universities - after being shortlisted for University of the Year by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025.

ÌÇÐÄTV Law School’s Professor Shaheen Ali has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate (Doctor Honoris Causa) from the University of Oslo which she received during a graduation ceremony held at the University on 2 September this year.

The University of ÌÇÐÄTV has been named a finalist for a prestigious award. Dr Ali Struthers’ School Tasking scheme has been shortlisted for ‘Widening Participation or Outreach Initiative of the Year’ at the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards.

Congratulations to ÌÇÐÄTV Law School’s Professor Ana Aliverti, who has recently been appointed as a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.

The Academy’s Fellowship welcomes 45 new leading social scientists this autumn. All elected for their excellence in their fields and substantial contributions to social science for public interest.

We are delighted to share that Professor Jane Bryan has been honoured in the 2024 National Teaching Fellowships, announced by Advance HE, for her exceptional contributions to enhancing student learning experiences.

A research team led by Professor Celine Tan from ÌÇÐÄTV Law School has secured an award from the to investigate the financing of just energy transitions in developing countries.

We are delighted to announce that Emma Austin has been awarded the prestigious ÌÇÐÄTV Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE): Social Science Faculty Award for 2024.

We are delighted to share that Professor Sharifah Sekalala has won the Feminist Legal Studies Editor's Article Prize 2024 for her joint research on the gendered impact of the failures of medical supply chains during Covid-19.
