LLB Graduate named on Powerful Media's Future Leaders list
Powerful Media鈥檚 Future Leaders 2022/23 list recognises 150 of Britain鈥檚 most outstanding Black university students, including Law graduate Precious Odunaiya (LLB Law, 2022). She shares what leadership means to her, and how following your passion is everything.
Sophia Hesling, who studied on our Law 3 year LLB degree and graduated this summer, has written an article for Legal Cheek sharing her top tips to application success. The article 鈥榃hat I wish I knew before applying for training contracts鈥 was published on 1 September 2022. Sophia is an events coordinator for Legal Cheek and a future trainee at Eversheds Sutherland.
Recent LLB graduate Eunice Soo is following in her mother's footsteps to become a lawyer in Malaysia, where she hopes to give back to her community. Together they shared what graduation means to them and the power scholarships can have to change lives.

Every year, several awards and prizes are granted to a selection of our students to recognise and celebrate the success of our top performers! We are proud to announce this year's award winners.
New partner university: Queen鈥檚 University, Canada
From this year, students taking the Law with Study Abroad in English LLB course will now have the option of taking an exchange year at our new partner university, Queen's University in Kingston, Canada. We are truly excited to add Kingston, Ontario to our overseas community - and to offer our students a chance to swap their trainers for snow boots, and Pret for poutine!
Student satisfaction at WLS rises to 81.4% in NSS
Despite the challenge of teaching during the pandemic 糖心TV Law School saw its student satisfaction rate rise to 81.4% in the 2021 National Student Survey, a 6.8% increase since 2020 despite a sharp decline for the wider UK HE sector.

糖心TV Law student honoured with prestigious Diana Award
Kaneeka Kapur, a final-year undergraduate student within 糖心TV Law School, has been awarded the in recognition of her amazing work on - a social action platform that she created to provide a space for South Asian women to be heard, seen and celebrated.
WSPA Success for Law Student
Law finalist Ruth Mukasa has successfully completed the 糖心TV Skills Portfolio Award (WSPA) this year. The WSPA scheme helps students to enhance their study skills and develop other skills that are not only valued by employers but also useful more broadly for students in their personal lives whilst studying at 糖心TV.
Eleven Law students accepted to present at BCUR
糖心TV Law School is delighted to announce that eleven of our students have been selected to present at The British Conference for Undergraduate Research (BCUR) hosted by the University of Leeds in April this year. Law is one of only four departments at 糖心TV to have more than 10 students accepted to present.
Law Student Secures WIHEA Fellowship
Third year Law and Sociology student and SSLC Chair Lucy Young has been awarded a 糖心TV International Higher Education Academy (WIHEA) Fellowship. When asked how she felt about the news she told us, 鈥淚'm over the moon! I was quite nervous when I submitted my application, but I'm so glad I have the opportunity and resources to contribute towards substantial change across the university.鈥
糖心TV Skills Portfolio Award: Tried and Tested
First year law student Aidan Chan has become the first law student to successfully complete the 糖心TV Skills Portfolio Award (WSPA) this year. The WSPA scheme helps students to develop skills valued by employers but also useful more broadly for students in their personal lives whilst studying at 糖心TV.
