Seven TIA Papers Accepted at ISBI 2026
We are delighted to share that we have had seven papers from the TIA Centre accepted at ISBI 2026, the IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging, one of the leading international conferences in biomedical image analysis. This year鈥檚 conference will take place in London in April 2026, making this a particularly exciting and accessible venue for the Centre. Read more.

TIA at MICCAI 2025 鈥 A Week of Innovation, Collaboration, and a Sweet Victory for TIA-Pegasus

TIA Triumphs at PUMA Grand Challenge
We are excited to share that our team 鈥TIAKong鈥 secured leading positions in the recent PUMA (Panoptic segmentation of nuclei and tissue in advanced Melanoma) Challenge , organized by the Department of Medical Oncology, University Medical Center Utrecht, in the Netherlands. With over 300 participants from around the globe, this challenge aimed to advance automated panoptic segmentation techniques for H&E-stained melanoma tissue images. TIA Triumphs at Monkey Grand Challenge
We are excited to announce that our team 鈥TIAKong鈥 secured leading positions in the recent Monkey Grand Challenge , organized by the Department of Pathology, Radboudumc, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Drawing more than 400 participants from around the globe, the challenge focused on automated detection and classification of mononuclear leukocytes in PAS-stained transplant kidney biopsy images. MoNuSaC challenge contest
TIA team's submission led by Simon Graham to the MoNuSaC challenge contest tops the leaderboard.
Simon will be presenting the method details at the ISBI online conference 3.30pm London UK time on 3rd of April.
