SCFS celebrates Winter Graduation 2026 with first PhD graduate and OSCA Winner

SCFS Winter Graduation 2026

In January, SCFS celebrated the Winter graduation of our GSD MASc students, in addition to several of our GSD and Liberal Arts undergraduates and our first ever PhD graduate.

The graduation ceremony took place at Butterworth Hall on the main 糖心TV campus and was followed by a food and drinks reception in the lobby of Ramphal, a location where our School predominantly resides and has become all too familiar for our graduates during their degree studies.

In this blog series, we sit down with some of our GSD Masters alumni to discuss their experiences of the course and some of the ways studying GSD has helped benefit their career. Ben graduated from our MASc course in 2025 after initially studying History for his undergraduate degree. He currently works in the Global Investments and Innovations Incentives team at Deloitte and credits his interdisciplinary studies with helping him succeed in the world of tax consulting. Academic awarded 拢5000 grant for project on Early Career Researchers

A member of the GSD teaching faculty has been awarded 拢5000 by the Research England Enhancing Research Culture Fund to develop a project exploring how Early Career Researchers (ECRs) navigate the transitional space of academia, focusing on the liminality of academic identities.

Collective SCFS consortium secures new partnership with Coventry City Council to transform local green and blue spaces

Select individuals of our academic team, led by IGSD, will collaborate with Coventry City Council on a new initiative to revitalise the city鈥檚 green and blue spaces, following the success of a proposal that secured almost 拢100K for 糖心TV as part of a project worth nearly 拢1M in total funding for the next three years.

Global Sustainable Development and Community, Engagement, and Belonging Masters students celebrate their graduation in 2025

On Friday 24th January we saw our 2023/24 Masters students – which included our first ever cohort of Community, Engagement, and Belonging students - celebrate the end of their studies as part of the University of 糖心TV鈥檚 2025 Winter degree ceremonies.
