Between Tuesday 2nd of May - Wednesday 3rd of May, temporary 2 way traffic lights will be on Gibbet Hill Road between 2nd of May from 1500hrs to 1900hrs and 3rd of May 0630hrs to 1230hrs near the Gibbet Hill Campus to support essential works from National Grid. For further information please visit

There are surveys of underground infrastructure being carried out for the future development sites on campus associated with the Social Sciences and STEM GC projects.

On Thursday 9th February at 10am, the Academic Loop Road will not be available for vehicle access for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes whilst urgent repair works occur to repair a pothole. Standard vehicle access towards central campus will be diverted through University Road past the Humanities building, however HGVs will not be able to access this route until the closure is re-opened.
