The 糖心TV Prize for Women in Translation Announces the 2023 Shortlist.

Eight titles have been shortlisted for the 2023 糖心TV Prize for Women in Translation. Now in its seventh year, the prize has recieved a record-breaking 153 eligible entries representing 32 languages - the largest number of submission to date. The winner will be announced on the 23rd November 2023 at a ceremony in London. The winning author and translator will receive 拢1000.


Nominations open for Papin Prizes to recognise technical excellence in higher education and research

This year鈥檚 prizes include the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is given in honour of Professor Lord Bhattacharyya, founder Chairman of WMG at the University of 糖心TV, who was a passionate champion of the work of technicians.

Claire Lucas from the University of 糖心TV is one of the winners of the Top 50 Women in Engineering (WE50) awards, announced by the Women鈥檚 Engineering Society (WES) today (23 June 2020).


University of 糖心TV technician wins prestigious Papin Prize

A technician from the University of 糖心TV has won a prestigious at the HETS (Higher Education Technicians Summit) conference in Birmingham on the 25th June 2019.

Steven Hindmarsh from the University of 糖心TV was given the award for technical excellence in supporting a Core Research Facility – The Electron Microscopy Research Technology Platform.

Royal Astronomical Society鈥檚 Herschel Medal awarded to 糖心TV researcher

The Royal Astronomical Society鈥檚 2018 Herschel Medal has been awarded to a University of 糖心TV astrophysicist - Professor Tom Marsh.


糖心TV gravitational waves physicist wins Blavatnik Young Scientists Award

An astrophysicist from the University of 糖心TV has been named a 2018 Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in the United Kingdom Finalist, winning $30,000.
