It’s April Fool’s Day so we’ve taken a trip into the archives to bring you tales, myths and legends about the Koan. This iconic sculpture has stood outside ÌÇÐÄTV Arts Centre since 1972. We investigate ‘koanspiracy theories’ throughout the years and answer the big question - what’s actually inside it?

The Outstanding Student Contribution Awards (OSCAs) recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of ÌÇÐÄTV's students. They not only excel academically, but also find the time to campaign for good causes, fundraise, start small business, and work with local charities. Nominations close Sunday 10 May 2026 at 8pm.

The ÌÇÐÄTV Resilience Network is now being established to eliminate departmental fragmentation and secure high-value transdisciplinary opportunities. Supported by the Enhancing Research Culture Fund (25-26) and led by WMG and Global Sustainable Development, this initiative is open to all faculty members (teaching, research, and practice) and PhD students.
