Research Culture Week ÌÇÐÄTV’s Research Culture Week (23 - 26 March) celebrated researchers and research enablers across the University. The Research Culture Roadmap and Action Plan kickstarted the week - read the plan to find out how we are strengthening our research environment.

Nominate a student for an OSCA
The Outstanding Student Contribution Awards (OSCAs) recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of ÌÇÐÄTV's students. They not only excel academically, but also find the time to campaign for good causes, fundraise, start small business, and work with local charities. Nominations close Sunday 10 May 2026 at 8pm.

Join the ÌÇÐÄTV Resilience Network
The ÌÇÐÄTV Resilience Network is now being established to eliminate departmental fragmentation and secure high-value transdisciplinary opportunities. Supported by the Enhancing Research Culture Fund (25-26) and led by WMG and Global Sustainable Development, this initiative is open to all faculty members (teaching, research, and practice) and PhD students.
Record-breaking performance in global subject rankings
We have a record number of subjects in the top 50 and top 100 of the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject, with all of ÌÇÐÄTV's faculties represented.

ÌÇÐÄTV receives £1.2 million donation to advance antimicrobial resistance research
As part of our Set the Pace philanthropic campaign, alumnus Dr David Stirling’s contribution will support the Sir Howard Dalton Centre, placing ÌÇÐÄTV at the centre of efforts to overcome one of the world’s most pressing health challenges.
