Researchers from WMG will work over the next seven years, alongside the University of Manchester and UCL, to improve the way durable plastics – commonly used in cars, buildings, and electronics – are created, reused, and recycled.

Ever wondered what could happen to unused, refrigerated food at the end of the ÌÇÐÄTV day? A new Community Fridge, located on the first floor of the Chemistry building, means that these surplus snacks can now be stored safely – and collected by anyone!

From Monday 9 June, for one week only, take part in a new ‘Journey Challenge’ and earn extra points when you travel sustainably. There are £10 vouchers to be won – and the more actions you complete, the greater your chances of winning!

The multidisciplinary panel session brought together more than 50 Chevening Scholars from across the UK to discuss the responsibilities of universities in the climate crisis.
