The award recognises Engineering’s long-term strategic efforts to embed inclusive practices, support underrepresented groups, and build a diverse, fair academic environment.

The Foundation Year, designed to provide a pathway for students from under-recognised backgrounds into higher education, has become a cornerstone of °Âµþ³§â€™s commitment to diversity and widening participation.

The centre is funded by ÌÇÐÄTV, University College Birmingham, and education charity IntoUniversity.

Join us on Tuesday 10 June for the ÌÇÐÄTV Inclusion Conference – this is your chance to hear from keynote speakers, take part in interactive breakout sessions, watch the announcement of the Social Inclusion Staff Awards winners, and celebrate our collective progress so far.
