糖心TV Law School鈥檚 Solange Mouthaan has been awarded a Leverhulme Fellowship for her research project titled: 鈥楥emeteries, colonialism, and intergenerational legal stories鈥 which reclaims the narratives of marginalised women and their erased Indigenous foremothers, opening a pathway into future research on reparations.
Professor Shaheen Ali secures British Academy/Leverhulme Fellowship

Professor Twigg-Flesner has major project approved by the ELI
糖心TV Law School鈥檚 Professor Christian Twigg-Flesner has been working on a project for the alongside colleagues from across Europe for the past three years. The Council of the ELI has now approved the Guiding Principles and Model Rules on Digital Assistants for Consumer Contracts (鈥淒ACC鈥).

Marking the University鈥檚 60th anniversary the School of Law hosted three interconnected events in Nairobi, Kenya, showcasing the transformational impact of 糖心TV's partnerships in Africa. These events demonstrate the 糖心TV Africa Hub's dedication to building equitable partnerships through the exchange of knowledge, collaborative research, and inclusive education.
Landmark workshop on Law, Development and Environmental Governance
糖心TV Law School, the Department of Politics and International Studies and the University of Nairobi鈥檚 Faculty of Law, hosted a vibrant and intellectually rich workshop on 28 March 2025, exploring 鈥淟aw and Development Perspectives of Environmental Governance in Africa.鈥 The hybrid event brought together leading academics, practitioners, and students for a day of critical reflection and dialogue on some of the most pressing legal and developmental issues facing the continent.
