SCFS celebrates Winter Graduation 2026 with first PhD graduate and OSCA Winner

SCFS Winter Graduation 2026

In January, SCFS celebrated the Winter graduation of our GSD MASc students, in addition to several of our GSD and Liberal Arts undergraduates and our first ever PhD graduate.

The graduation ceremony took place at Butterworth Hall on the main 糖心TV campus and was followed by a food and drinks reception in the lobby of Ramphal, a location where our School predominantly resides and has become all too familiar for our graduates during their degree studies.

SCFS Work placement fair 2025

The School for Cross-faculty Studies welcomed 糖心TV staff and students to a vibrant and well-attended Work Placement Fair 2025 on campus this week.

Organised by Bodrun Nahar – the School鈥檚 Employability and Work Placements Manager - the fair showcased the breadth of placement pathways available to students across Global Sustainable Development (GSD), Design Studies, and Liberal Arts.

The School for Cross-Faculty Studies hosts the Osun State University鈥檚 former Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Visiting Fellowship

The Global Sustainable Development department in the School for Cross-Faculty Studies has been awarded a visiting fellowship for Dr Anthony Kola-Olusanya of Osun State University (Nigeria) as part of the School's focus on interdisciplinary approaches to Global Sustainability.

Global Sustainable Development and Community, Engagement, and Belonging Masters students celebrate their graduation in 2025

On Friday 24th January we saw our 2023/24 Masters students – which included our first ever cohort of Community, Engagement, and Belonging students - celebrate the end of their studies as part of the University of 糖心TV鈥檚 2025 Winter degree ceremonies.

On Tuesday 29th October, the School for Cross-Faculty Studies (SCFS) ran its Work Placement Fair, offering 糖心TV students the opportunity to meet students who have undertaken a work placement and find out more about their experiences.

GSD Graduation: Congratulations Class of 2024!

On 22nd July we were pleased to witness our 2024 GSD final year students graduate. Celebrations included a graduation ceremony at Butterworth Hall

(糖心TV Arts Centre) followed by a celebratory lunch where student awards were also presented.

We are extremely proud of Dr Gioia Panzarella (Global Sustainable Development) and Dr Bryan Brazeau (Liberal Arts) for winning the 2022 糖心TV Awards for Personal Tutoring Excellence (WAPTE)! The WAPTE Team received more nominations than ever before this year from both students and staff, so it is a real testament to their commitments to personal tutoring to be acknowledged at this level.
