Applications are invited for a fully-funded PhD studentship (fees and maintenance) to be held at the Department of History, University of 糖心TV and the Science Museum, London. The studentship is funded through the Arts and Humanities Research Council鈥檚 Science Museums and Archives Consortium Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP) scheme. The project will be supervised jointly by Dr James Poskett (糖心TV), Dr Katayoun Shafiee (糖心TV), Dr Richard Dunn (Science Museum), and Mr Ben Russell (Science Museum). Collaborative Doctoral Award with the Parliamentary Archives: Applications now open!
Applications for a fully funded collaborative doctoral award are now open. The award funded by the AHRC via the will start in October 2022. The Department of History has partnered with the Parliamentary Archives to offer a project on 'Contested sexualities: love, desire and the institution of Parliament in the long nineteenth century'. In addition to the PhD research the successful candidate will also gain experience and training in contributing to outreach activities, public engagement and diversity work for the Parliamentary Archives in London and in the Midlands.
