If there was ever a time to reassess your relationship with the planet, it鈥檚 today. Why? Today marks the 51st annual Earth Day, and with an incredible range of virtual events, it鈥檚 easier to get involved than ever before.

Coventry will be taking part in the worldwide City Nature Challenge for the first time this year and we are encouraging people to get involved on campus and in the local area. Between 30th April and 3rd May naturalists, bird watchers, conservation groups and keen wildlife spotters from over 400 cities worldwide will be out and about recording the nature in their local areas so why don鈥檛 you join them? Whether you鈥檙e an expert or novice it couldn鈥檛 be easier to take part.

Join staff from the University of 糖心TV and the 糖心TVshire Wildlife Trust to find out about projects in the local area. You will hear first about the University鈥檚 long term commitment to biodiversity as well as current and future projects on the main and Wellesbourne campuses. Ian Jelley, Director of Living Landscapes at WWT, will then talk about the River Sherbourne scheme, their new 30by30 Vision and other projects.
