Green Week is a fun week of events spanning from 2 – 6 February (with a bonus event on 7 February), focusing on all things Green and Sustainable, organised by the Sustainability Forum in the SU. If you’re a passionate student interested in Sustainability and SDGs and want to run your own events or projects but don’t have the funding, find out how to apply for some of the £5000 Sustainability fund.

Want to get involved in sustainability projects on campus? Join the Green Champions community and make a real impact through a range of initiatives. You can apply for short‑term or long-term projects. The application deadline for short‑term projects, such as designing an energy trail or creating engaging social media content, is 30 January. Apply today!

Join us in The Nook on Wednesday 3 December from 3 - 5pm for a creative drop-in session where you’ll design beautiful holiday crafts using sustainable and upcycled materials!

Join us on this butterfly-themed event on Thursday 24th July, 10:00-11:00 and 11:00-12:00, to learn more about the Big Butterfly Count, explore what species we have on campus and have a go at contributing to the world's largest butterfly survey. This activity contributes to the ÌÇÐÄTV Award.

The Donation Drive is back, and it’s your chance to give your unwanted clothes, kitchenware, food, electricals, homeware, book sand other usable items a second life. Just look for the big yellow bunkers around campus and drop off your stuff anytime — it’s that easy. Every donation goes toward supporting people in our community and helps reduce waste. Last year, we saved 8.1 tonnes of items from ending up in general waste!

For this week only, we're introducing the Journey Challenge to ÌÇÐÄTV Green Rewards. If you enjoy cycling, walking, taking the bus or even car sharing, this is your chance to win by travelling sustainably!
