Dawsonera E-books Platform At Risk
Dawson Books went into administration on 19th June, 2020. Although the Dawsonera platform has remained accessible for several weeks it could stop working at any time. The Library is working to find ways to switch content from the Dawsonera platform to other e-book providers. However, we have been advised that if users have annotations, notes comments or enhanced content in Dawsonera this probably cannot be transferred for technical reasons. Therefore we have been advised to recommend that users download any notes that they wish to keep as soon as possible prior to the Dawsonera service being switched off.
New Wiley Open Access agreement
The University has recently signed up to a new 鈥楻ead & Publish鈥� agreement with Wiley, which means there are now more opportunities than ever to make your work Open Access (OA).
