Yorkshire miners' union archives catalogued
More than 500 boxes of archives relating to the Yorkshire Miners' Association and National Union of Mineworkers Yorkshire Area have been catalogued. The archives cover more than 150 years of mining history, from the mid-19th century to the early 21st.
Mining union archives to be conserved!
The MRC are delighted to announce that we have received grant funding for essential conservation work to stabilise the recently discovered archives of the National Association of Colliery Overmen, Deputies and Shotfirers (NACODS) from the National Archives and the Society for the Study of Labour History.
