(RESOLVED) Records missing from Library Search

We are aware that some records appear to have been removed from Library Search. As a result, a limited number of links in Reading Lists may no longer connect to the previously linked records. We have notified the supplier of this issue and they are currently investigating.

In the meantime, all original records remain available in the Library Classic Catalogue:

Access issues with ProQuest Ebook Central

Access to ProQuest Ebook Central has been working intermittently since Friday 16th January, with some users reporting no access due to their IP range.

If you are affected by this, ProQuest have requested that you delete all existing cookies for that browser. You can do this manually, or by clicking this link:

Once this link has deleted your Ebook Central cookies, it will redirect you to the Ebook Central landing page. After this, please try the original link to the book again and access should be restored.

You can also try:

  • Using a private/incognito browser
  • Using a different browser, e.g. Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox

Library Search Links error message "Header too large"

Some users have reported issues when trying to access eResources from Library Search. Users are accessing links on Library Search but are presented with a 400 error message, stating that the Header is too large. We are very sorry about if you have experienced this issue. The service provider has been contacted and we hope to get a solution soon. In the meantime there are some workarounds that are working in most cases.

Some quick solutions include clearing cookies, using a private browser session to access material, or to access the material from the .
