Temporary water discolouration affecting campus

Routine fire hydrant testing is currently taking place across campus as part of essential fire safety maintenance.

During this time, some outlets, including taps and WCs, may briefly experience slight water discolouration. This is a normal and expected effect of the testing process and is not harmful.

If you notice any discolouration, simply run the water for a short period until it clears.

These works are part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe campus environment and a high-quality water supply.

Thank you for your patience and support while these important checks are carried out.
