Temporary closure of accessible parking bays at the rear of the Library
The accessible parking bays at the rear of the Library will be temporarily unavailable on Wednesday 26 August to allow essential lining works to take place.
We recognise that these bays are important for many of our community. Unfortunately the bays will need to be kept clear to allow the yellow hatch markings to be reinstated safely. The works themselves are expected to take around one hour, and we will look to reopen the bays as soon as it is safe and possible to do so.
Blue Badge holders are encouraged to use alternative accessible parking bays nearby where possible.
We understand this may cause inconvenience and appreciate your patience while these essential works are carried out.
If you require any additional support or would like to discuss alternative arrangements, please contact the Transport & Mobility team.
Westwood Way road closure from Monday 24th August for 3 days
Westwood Way will be closed for its full length from Monday 24 August for approximately 3 working days.
The closure is required to allow Coventry City Council to carry out carriageway surface dressing works. Vehicle access will be restricted during the works, with a diversion route in place. Pedestrian access will not be affected.
Drivers are advised not to park on Westwood Way while the works are taking place. If you experience any access issues, please speak to the traffic management operatives on site.
Temporarily closure of the accessible bays by Engineering (Science Block F)
The accessible parking bays near Engineering (Science Block F) will be temporarily unavailable from 9th April to 20th April to allow essential roofing works to take place.
We recognise that these bays are important for many of our community. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the works and associated health and safety requirements, the bays will need to remain closed for the duration of this period. We will continue to work closely with the contractor and will look to reopen the bays earlier where it is safe and possible to do so.
Blue Badge holders are encouraged to use the service vehicle area adjacent to the existing accessible bays near Science Block A, where possible.
