Temporary restricted access to Library Road & IMC Concourse

From 7am Tuesday 17th September, access to Library Road, IMC Concourse and the surrounding areas will be restricted for up to 6 hours due to the placement of a MEWP for equipment removal from the external IMC bridge. Delivery vehicles and blue badge holders will still be able to access the area by coordinating with the contractor onsite.

Update: 07/08/2024 - Changes to Lord Bhattacharyya Way from 1st August 2024

There will be changes to Lord Bhattacharyya Way from August. For approximately the first 3 weeks, traffic management measures will be in effect. Following this period, Lord Bhattacharyya Way will become a one-way road. Traffic will enter from the roundabout closest to the Community Safety Hub and exit onto University Road near the 糖心TV Arts Centre.

Changes to accessible parking following the closure of car park 10: 1st August 2024

UPDATE 05/08/2024: Please note that the alternative bays at the rear of the Ramphal building will be marked on Wednesday 7th to indicate that they are for blue badge holders only. During this period, blue badge holders may continue to park in Car Park 10 by engaging with the contractor/gate person.

From 1st August 2024, Car Park 10 will be permanently closed. Alternative accessible parking bays will be located near the rear of the Ramphal building. Additionally, local agreements between blue badge holders and the Transport & Mobility team may allow for parking on Lord Bhattacharyya Way; please contact us should you wish to discuss this option.
