Balfour Beatty VINCI are working, in partnership with HS2 and National Highways, to construct the A46 box structure which will carry the new HS2 line under the A46 near Kenilworth. To support this, the A46 Kenilworth Bypass will be closed for up to 3 weeks. The closure period will be:

From 8pm on Friday 11 April until 6am Thursday 1 May 2025

A clearly signed diversion route will be in place over this period with advance signage in place to help remind motorists of the closure.

From Monday 24th February - Saturday 22nd March 2025, the A429 Kenilworth Road will be closed between the Gibbet Hill Road roundabout and the Crackley Lane junction due to HS2 construction work. Access for properties, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained.

From Tuesday 14th January - Wednesday 22nd January, a lane along Charter Avenue will be closed for utility repair and maintenance work carried out by Severn Trent Water. The work will be completed in two sections:
