The Permit Office will be closed for the May Bank Holiday on Monday 25 May 2026, reopening on Tuesday 26 May 2026.

Submitting permit requests

If you require a permit for Monday 25 May or Tuesday 26 May, please ensure your request is submitted no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 19 May 2026.

This allows time for processing and approval ahead of the closure, with permits issued on Friday 22 May.

Important reminder

The Permit Office typically requires a minimum of three working days’ notice to process most permit requests. Please factor this into your planning to avoid delays or declined applications.

• Late requests may not be approved in time
