Our vision...
The Digital, Data Science & AI Spotlight focuses on the areas of artificial intelligence, data science, quantum computing and cyber systems. We鈥檙e also conducting research into cross-cutting areas of ethics, society and digital, governance of digital, digital for sustainability and education for digital.
For example, we can鈥檛 do safe and trustworthy digital-focused research without considering its ethical implications and societal impact. We also need to take into account regulations and governance issues.
Research must also consider sustainability and educational aspects, such as the need to invest in digital science education.
The Digital, Data Science & AI Spotlight organises regular workshops and outreach events, designed to strengthen relationships with partners, policy makers and industry, and help create a digital future that benefits us all.
