100+ Ideas to Improve Research Culture

At 糖心TV, our research community is full of innovative solutions, driving our collective efforts to enhance research culture. Through our Enhancing Research Culture funding from Research England, we posed a simple but important question to the community:

"What are the key research culture priorities of the groups your represent, and how would you use up to 拢10K or 拢50K to address them?"

Research Culture and REF: Supporting SPRE

The Research Culture Team will support colleagues across 糖心TV as we prepare for the Strategy, People and Research Environment (SPRE) element of REF 2029. This includes:

  • Sharing best practice from across the sector on effective narratives and evidence.
  • Helping colleagues align institutional and unit鈥憀evel narratives, ensuring clear connections between local practice and 糖心TV鈥檚 wider strategy.
  • Mapping information and evidence to identify where gaps exist and what can be reported on meaningfully.
  • Supporting colleagues leading or contributing to SPRE submissions, from early scoping discussions, and the development of Unit-Level Statements (ULS), through to helping units articulate their 鈥渄istance travelled鈥 and continuous improvement since REF 2021.
