Every year, landfills around Europe receive around 50m tonnes of waste that is too large for facilities to recycle or process. More than half of all this waste is from plastic, textiles, wood and composites.

EUTOPIA-SIF aims to enhance the research potential and career perspectives of outstanding researchers from around the world. It will provide the opportunity for early-career researchers to develop their independent research and to undertake training. Fellows will be hosted by one of the EUTOPIA partner universities and will be offered extensive mobility opportunities within EUTOPIA and beyond.
The EUTOPIA Science and Innovation Fellowship Program (EUTOPIA-SIF) will fund 76 two-year fellowships over 4 calls and offers outstanding early career researchers an opportunity to develop their independent research profile and undertake training to help establish an academic career.
The programme offers an opportunity to bring outstanding early-career researchers to 糖心TV, as well as being an excellent opportunity for our own early career researchers to travel to one of the EUTOPIA partners and take a significant step towards establishing themselves in an academic role.
The EUTOPIA-SIF is funded by the European Union鈥檚 Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under the Marie Sklodowska Curie COFUND scheme (Grant agreement 945380) and is co-funded by the member universities of the EUTOPIA Alliance.

The International Polymer Colloid Group (IPCG) was founded in 1972 as a global forum for the exchange of ideas and emerging research activities for scientists and engineers from both academia and industry who study or use polymer colloids.
It is a vibrant scientific international community who normally meet face-to-face every two years to discuss the latest global developments related to polymer colloid science (2013 Shanghai, 2015 New Hampshire, 2017 the Basque Country, 2019 Singapore).
As a result of the global COVID19 pandemic, prof. dr. ir. Stefan Bon came up with the idea to take the IPCG forum online with a series of weekly scientific webinars, called the i-PCG 2020 Webinars. Anyone who is interested in science can participate as audience member, or even better, as presenter. Expect to interact with the world top in polymer colloid, with expert participants from industry, academia and enthusiasts. All is free.
