To strengthen our cyber security posture across the University, we will update our Microsoft 365 email protection policies in the week of 16th June 2025. These updates support better detection to block spam, phishing, and malware threats. Please check your Junk mail or quarantine if expected emails are missing. You can use the or daily email notifications to review and release legitimate messages.

To improve our security, businesses or individuals outside the University will soon need to register for multi factor authentication when they collaborate with us on Teams, SharePoint or OneDrive.

A new Information Management Framework Policy will be published at the beginning of February, with guidance for managing and securing information throughout its lifecycle at the University.
