Term 2 Online Presentation Skills

Want to get top marks in your assessed presentations?

Want to learn more about what makes a great presentation?

In this session, Janet Collinge will help you look at some of the most common mistakes that WBS postgraduate students make when presenting and you will be given practical tips on how to improve your presentation skills.

We will be focusing on how to make your presentation memorable, interesting and clear: through your presentation language (e.g., signposting, referring to visuals and dealing with questions); by maintaining the interest of your audience through the voice (e.g., tonal units/chunking, volume, pace and pitch), and rhetorical devices (rhetorical questions and tripling).

Date and Time: Monday 1st February 2027 6-7:30pm, delivered online
