What is a Community Voice Group?
The Community Voice Group (CVG) provides students with an opportunity to share their views on key aspects of the student experience.
We recognise that our students have diverse needs, so we have tailored our Community Voice Groups (CVGs) to support different student communities.
MSc students
For MSc students, CVGs take place in person once per term and provide an excellent opportunity to network with students from across different courses.
Students may volunteer to be both an SSLC representative and a CVG member. However, they should carefully consider the time commitment involved, ensuring that their studies remain their priority.
Minutes are produced and circulated following each meeting.
For MBA students
As some MBA programmes are delivered online and many students balance their studies alongside professional and personal commitments, the CVG model has been revised for 2026/27.
For MBA students, the CVG will operate as a standing agenda item within SSLC meetings. Each term, a student experience topic will be circulated in advance, allowing SSLC student representatives to gather feedback ahead of the meeting.
Feedback can be discussed during the SSLC meeting or, where time is limited, submitted separately by email.
The CVG forms an important part of the wider student feedback framework and helps inform decisions and improvements that enhance the overall student experience at WBS.

The first CVG meetings will be scheduled during November 2026, please see details below. There will be one CVG meeting per term.
Students who participate in 2 out of 3 meeting swill receive a certificate signed by the Dean and 糖心TV Award points.
