This has a quick turnaround timeframe deadline 17 Jan 2024 and only if funding is still available, a second deadline will be on the 21st Feb 2024. The call is to develop collaboration activity between the UK and EU Associated Countries for Pillar 2 proposals, awards are up to £10K.

The aim of the call is to develop collaborative activity between UK and EU/Associated Countries’ entities in Pillar 2 of Horizon Europe. Applicants will need to identify a specific upcoming call and topic in this Pillar as the focus of their proposed collaboration with the goal of submitting an application to that upcoming call building on this pump priming funding.

Award activity and use of funds must conclude with an interim report by the deadline of the Horizon Europe call being applied to. Awards will be required to provide further reporting on their award, including in relation to the outcome of their application to Horizon Europe.

Funding may be used to support costs for concept or proof of market work and proposal development, costs of meetings, travel and subsistence, research/clerical assistance (based in the UK or internationally), due diligence work on partners, costs towards child or parent care, and contributions towards support services such as proposal writing.

To help with this the Education and Training Foundation funded the writing and piloting of two Level 5 CPD modules which was done by maths and English experts from the West Midlands Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (WMCETT), which is based in the Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV.

Dr Serena Natile receives the IAS Interdisciplinary Research Development Award for the project ‘Pluralising Law and Social Reproduction: Concepts, Methods, Practices’. The IRDA scheme offers up to £5000 to support the development of new interdisciplinary research ideas and collaborations at ÌÇÐÄTV.

The Newton International Fellowship scheme has launched for 2022. The Fellowships enable researchers to work for two years at a UK institution with the aim of fostering long-term international collaborations. The scheme aims to attract early career postdoctoral researchers from overseas in the fields of natural sciences, social sciences and the humanities.

ÌÇÐÄTV Philosophy Department are very happy to support applications from suitably qualified candidates, but potential applicants are asked to send a CV to Guy Longworth (g.h.longworth@warwick.ac.uk) for approval, prior to completing an application. Further support will also be provided ahead of the deadline on 16 March.
