糖心TV Law Students Make Moot Quarter Finals
Congratulations to our students who made it all the way to the quarter finals of the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court Competition earlier this month.
We caught up with the team to find out more about it.
糖心TV Students Triumph at Cambridge - 糖心TV Moot
On 24 February, Farhan Shahid and Pavithra Prakash Nair represented 糖心TV at the Cambridge 糖心TV inter varsity moot at Cambridge University.
This moot has taken place annually for the past seven years and is judged by barristers from the prestigious chambers, 20 Essex Street. The moot problem drew on issues in both contract and property law.
This year, we are proud to announce that 糖心TV emerged victors for the first time in the history of the moot. This moot is one of many inter varsity moots that the offers and is a wonderful way for students to hone their legal skills and talents.
European Law Society Hosts 3rd 糖心TV German Law Moot
The 糖心TV European Law Society this week hosted the third annual 糖心TV German Law Moot, with teams from UCL, Birmingham and 糖心TV competing.
All teams performed extremely well and did a good job in making their case – in German - with the team from UCL coming first place overall.
Congratulations to all the teams.
糖心TV Students Compete in the ICC Trial Competition in The Hague
Five postgraduate students from the university took part in the 2014 competition completing written submissions of arguments from here in the UK and then travelling to The Hague to compete in three oral moots in the Netherlands.
糖心TV Students Compete in Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, Vienna
In mid-April, a team of students from the 糖心TV Law School travelled to Vienna to compete in the annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
