*** The European Commission Horizon 2020: ERC will shortly be inviting proposals for its ERC-2017-AdG ERC advanced grants. The call is expected to open 16 May and close 31 August 2017. The following information is subject to change. *** These grants support principal investigators at the career stage at which they are already established research leaders with a recognised track record of research achievements. Applicants must have a significant track record in the last 10 years which may include benchmarks such as 10 publications in major international peer-reviewed journals as main author, three major research monographs at least one of which is translated into another language, or other equivalent benchmarks. Grants are worth up to €2.5 million over five years, plus an additional start up grant of €1m. The total budget for this call is €567m, to support an estimated 245 grants. |
