How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

ÌÇÐÄTV Industry Fellowships Scheme 2018/2019 Deadline for applications Monday 29 October 2018

I am writing on behalf of Professor Pam Thomas PVC (Research), to invite applications to the ÌÇÐÄTV Industry Fellowships Scheme, with a deadline of Monday 29 October 2018 to industryfellowships@warwick.ac.uk

The details are as follows:

Overview
The ÌÇÐÄTV Industry Fellowships Scheme 2018/19 provides funding for innovative academic-industry secondments, to facilitate work on a collaborative project that contributes to one of the four Grand Challenges of the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy: ‘artificial intelligence and the data economy’, ‘ageing society’, ‘future of mobility’ and ‘clean growth’.

Grants are available to support short-term secondments to enable researchers and industry partners to work on mutually beneficial projects that will seed longer-term collaborations focussed on the Grand Challenges, the detail of which can be found here.

Funding can support academic secondments to industry, or vice-versa.

A maximum of £40,000, for direct salary costs including pension and NI, plus a £1,000 research allowance, is available per successful proposal.

Eligibility criteria
Projects must fall within one of the four Grand Challenges of the Industrial Strategy and have a confirmed industry partner.

University applicants can be at any stage of their career but must have a University contract that is either permanent, or of a minimum12 months fixed term.

A named University co-applicant must support proposed industry secondments.

All applications must receive the prior approval of the relevant HoD.

Application and review process
Applications must be submitted via the relevant HoD to industryfellowships@warwick.ac.uk by 12 noon on Monday 29 October 2018.

The application forms is attached, and will be made live on the R&IS website next week.

Support in completing proposals can be provided by:
 Dr Barry Dixon (Faculty of Social Sciences) B.Dixon@warwick.ac.uk
 Dr James Green (Faculty of Arts) James.Green@warwick.ac.uk
 Louisa Hopkins (Chemistry, Physics, Life Sciences, Psychology) Louisa.Hopkins@warwick.ac.uk
