How do I use this calendar?

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

The Royal Society invites entries for its insight investment science book prize. This recognises books that contribute to making science more accessible to public adult audiences. Books may focus on any aspect of popular science and technology, including biographies of scientists and technologists, and histories of science and technology.

There is no restriction on the geographical location of the publisher, or on the nationality, age or any other characteristic of the author or illustrator of any entry. Books must be submitted by the publisher, and must have been published for the first time in English between 1 October 2018 and 30 September 2019. Unpublished books may be submitted as long as preview copies of the book are available by April 2019.

The total budget is 拢37,500. The authors of up to five shortlisted books receive 拢2,500 each and the author of the winning book receives 拢25,000.
