How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Council invites proposals for its healthcare technologies discipline hopping award. This enables researchers to visit a different research or user environment to understand the impact of and need for research in STEM or ICT in addressing health challenges.

Academic employees of an eligible organisation who are resident in the UK may apply. The following researchers are prioritised:

鈥ngineering, physical sciences, mathematical sciences or ICT researchers, who wish address key healthcare challenges and need to widen their expertise, or want to spend time in a non-academic environment, such as an NHS trust;

鈥esearchers in other relevant disciplines, including clinicians with academic appointments, who want to spend time in an academic engineering, physical sciences, mathematical sciences or ICT research environment.

The awards are tenable for between three and 12 months and cover 80 per cent of the salary for the PI, travel, subsistence and resources for the specific activities.
