How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

The Royal Academy of Engineering, with support from the Worshipful Company of Engineers, invites nominations for its young engineer of the year awards. These recognise UK engineers who have demonstrated excellence in the early stage of their career.

Nominees must be either UK citizens or working in the UK for at least three years immediately before the year of the awarding prize. They must be in full-time education, research or industrial employment and must be less than 10 years from graduation from their first degree in engineering or equivalent qualification. Self-nominations are not accepted.

Five awards worth 拢3,000 each are available. The overall winner also receives the Sir George Macfarlane medal.

The Royal Academy of Engineering invites nominations for the Colin Campbell Mitchell award. This recognises an individual or a team of up to six engineers for contributions to the advancement of any field of UK engineering within the preceding four years.

Applicants should either be working or studying in the UK. Self-nominations are not accepted.

The prize is worth 拢3,000 for an individual and up to 拢6,000 for a team.
