How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

The European Commission Horizon 2020: Excellent Science, under the future and emerging technologies work programme, invites proposals for its H2020-FETPROACT-2019 proactive – boosting emerging technologies call. This supports projects that aim to identify the future and emerging technological paradigms with the highest potential for Europe’s economy and society. The call aims to establish a broad and solid European basis in terms of knowledge, key technological building blocks and interdisciplinary communities. Proposals may address the following topic:

The Fullbright Commission invites applications for its all-discipline scholar awards. These enable UK academics and professionals to undertake lecturing, research or a combination of the two in any discipline at a US host institution.

Applicants must be UK citizens. Dual US nationals, US green card holders, and applicants currently resident in the US are ineligible. They must hold a PhD in a subject relevant to the award to which they are applying or have equivalent relevant professional degrees or experience in the field.

Grant periods last from three to 12 months and may cover monthly stipends, sickness and accident cover, insurance, visa sponsorship and pre-departure support and orientation and cultural enrichment programmes and events.
