How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

STFC has received an allocation of 10-12 three-year RCUK Innovation Fellowships, as part of Government funding for the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund (ISCF). We are therefore inviting proposals from departments, or consortia of departments, to host one or more fellowships. It is expected that the fellowships will start on or before 1 April 2018, although earlier starts are encouraged where possible.

STFC RCUK Innovation Fellowships will support excellent researchers to work on research projects which build programmes of innovation and translation from research within the STFC core programme remit. Projects should ideally cross disciplines, particulary across the research councils, and be broadly aligned with the core themes, challenges and opportunities highlighted in the .

Research should be focused on providing interdisciplinary answers to complex problems as well as addressing focused industry and sectoral needs through, for example, proof of concept and market research to the social and economic benefit of the UK.

An intention of RCUK Innovation Fellowships is to attract excellent fellows from overseas (including the European Union), so departments are encouraged to recruit from an international field.
