Full text: *** The closing date for this opportunity has been extended. The previous deadline of 8 April has been extended to 30 April 2020. All other call details remain unchanged. *** The Science and Technology Facilities Council invites applications for its PATT travel grants. These provide travel and subsistence support for telescope time at STFC鈥檚 astronomy facilities. Applicants must be permanent members of staff or otherwise hold a fully tenured post within an eligible UK institution. Observers are eligible to use the funds awarded in support of an approved programme of observations if they are one of the following: 鈥he principal investigator, co-investigator or their nominated representative; 鈥mployed as a research assistant or researcher co-investigator on a research grant; 鈥tudents attached to an eligible institution whose credentials have firmly established them as bona fide observers. Funds are provided for groups that have an expenditure that exceeds 拢5,000 per year over two years.
