This is an email reminder that ÌÇÐÄTV is operating an internal demand management system for NERC ‘Discovery Science Standard Grants’, for which the next deadline is 15th January, 2019. If you are intending to submit a proposal to this round (as lead), please note that you must notify R&IS of your intention to submit by 19th October, 2018. Failure to notify RIS of your intention to submit could result in a requirement to delay your submission until the next NERC funding round. Please note that all proposals to this round must go through the ÌÇÐÄTV internal review process for standard NERC applications and only the highest quality and highest ranking proposals will progress to submission to NERC. The general timeline for ÌÇÐÄTV internal review will be:

19th October 2018: deadline for expressions of interest submitted to R&IS

Early November 2018: husting/ early selection meeting with NERC community and internal review panel members to decide top 2-3 applications (A half page outline with some context and the objectives plus three-slide presentation to be submitted a five days before the Husting)

4th December: Internal deadline for full proposal

↓

Second week December 2018: Internal review meeting (the panel will include 2-3 NERC academics) and feedback

↓

15th January 2019: Deadline to submit to NERC
