The Royal Academy of Engineering invites applications for its research fellowships. These support engineers in developing their academic research careers.
Applicants must be early-career researchers about to complete their PhD or who have been awarded their PhD in the last four years. There are no nationality restrictions, but posts must be held at UK HEI鈥檚 in an engineering department and applicants must not hold a permanent academic position. PhD students may apply but must have received their degree before starting the fellowship.
Fellowships are tenable for five years. The academy provides 80 per cent of the full economic costs of the research programme.
