Events in Physics
The Royal Society, in partnership with the Wolfson Foundation and the Department of 糖心TV, Energy and Industrial Strategy, invites nominations for the Wolfson research merit awards. These enable universities to recruit, or keep in the UK, researchers in all areas of the life and physical sciences, including engineering.
Researchers of any nationality who hold or have received a firm offer for a permanent post at a UK university may be nominated. Awards are made to the university and researchers must remain at the university named on the application.
Awards include salary enhancement worth between 拢10,000 to 拢30,000 per year over a maximum period of five years. Research expenses may be considered for overseas researchers to support integration into the UK research environment.
